I can buy top-ups for my old Doro b ut cannot add it as 'another device' to my account. It tries to do some linking (whatever that is) and says there is a problem. Anyone know what it's all about?

Hi @happyhacker

Welcome to the community.

If you speak with our Customer Support team, they'll be able to check how the accounts are registered and see if they can be linked manually.

@happyhacker : What other devices are already on your EE a/c? If they are on contract, you can't add a PAYG no. to it. They don't mix.

Just another payg mobile. I see no advantage registering another so leave it I think.

In your online MyEE: Home > Plans & Subs > Manage numbers > Add another number > Link EE mobile or SIM.

I don't know what 'link' means. I don't want incoming to my main mobile being linked to my old Doro I keep in the car. It doesn't matter now. I'll leave it as is as I have managed to add credit w/o registering the Doro. Thanks.

It just means registering it to your a/c so that you can manage it online or by app. When having 2 nos. linked to the same a/c what you do with 1 no. will not affect the other. You could create a separate a/c for it, if you like.

Unfortunately, we couldn't log you in, but you can still buy or upgrade - just choose what you want to do.

Thanks.
