Mobile locked and asking for a password

My mobile is asking for a password which it doesn't have and it's locked and i can't unlock it

@PS47  If you don’t know the password you’ll have to factory reset it.   If you don’t have a backup of your device all information on it will be lost.   

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
