Faulty Lenovo Tower Received

Gilmorton

Hi,

This has probably already been asked somewhere but I cannot for the life of me get to the bottom of this.

I ordered a Lenovo Tower as a tech add on to my contract which was all fine and dandy. Device arrived today but the HDMI port doesn’t work. Tried the type c since I had an adaptor for that too but that doesn’t work either. I’ve been trying to work out how to return the faulty device and get another in return but I can’t seem to find anything other than to go on my orders and sort it there.

I’ve tried to go through the my orders route but I keep getting an error message whenever I do. I just want to sort it out sooner rather than later since I’ve put far too much emotional investment in this PC for it to not work 😂

I have double checked and my HDMI cables 100% work as they work with other devices. I also tried plugging them into my TV and my PC monitor but it didn’t work in either. I’m at a loss in terms of how to fix it.

So please, can someone just tell me how I either:

A. Return it

B. Get the damn HDMI to work before I lose my mind!

Thank you in advance!

  1. If you ordered by phone or online you always have a statutory cooling-off period up to 14 days after delivery to cancel your order FoC. If you ordered in-store you have no such "change-of-mind" right of return.
If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hi @Gilmorton

Can you try go to the Volume on taskbar and right-click on it. Choose the the Playback Devices, just under the playback tab. Select the Digital Output Device or HDMI to detect the HDMI then click on Ok?
