Pdf download on my phone, has stopped working when i press to download a letter

My phone downloads has stopped working. It says unable to open as can not read qr code, my mail doesn't have qr codes on it any advice pls

Assuming you have an android device then try. Go into settings - apps- then reset app preferences.
