so I've ordered a new iphone and monthly contract. Phone turns up and doesn't work due to a faulty sim card. EE wont replace the phone or sim card but say they have to book it out on a 5 day fault turnaround. Bear in mind It's brand new and never worked. I cant cancel the contract and start again apparently. How can this be right?

Do you have another EE SIM that you could try in the device to see if this works?
Replacement SIMs can be provided on the day at your local EE Store.
Did our customer care team advise why this could not be done?
