lost delivery

stayed home all day waiting for the delivery watched tracking ect photo of my front door was posted on the tracker saying it would be delivered tomorrow, but no door bell was rung.

following day delivery is due at 1238/1338 hrs so i sat by front door as it was a nice day still no delivery but to my amazement a photo of my front door came up on tracking saying delivered. { it was not delivered } i had been sat there for the whole duration . phone should not of been left in safe place anyway so where is it?

phoned EE explained to them what had happend. please send me a phone,  no chance of that they have to open a claim with dpd and will phone me in 10 days to let me know the outcome {on my landline}

meanwhile i have no phone and no hope of getting one for a few weeks. is this normal Of EE ?

Welcome to the community, 

Unfortunately this is normal, but DPD usually will try again the next day, which should be today, as it was bank holiday weekend.

I always make sure that I have one in case anything happens, so never without a phone, if my main one breaks down.

I know this is not a solution, but Argos have very cheap ones you can buy until this is sorted, so that you are not left without one.

 

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

thanks for the reply but all this happend a week ago and i am still waiting

@Seveeeeee , I took it it happened this weekend not a week ago, have you tried ringing customer service again to see what is going on? We would not know here, as this is not customer service.

they are going to ring me next friday lol

DPD agree to send phone back to EE last week but my account has not been updated yet so i am still without a phone phoned EE this morning nothing they can do so i have now been without a phone from 22nd aug

Once the order has been processed and we have been advised this is now returned, your My EE will be updated and you will be notified.
