You'll probably find a similar delay with most other networks unless they just happen to have one in stock...
I ordered my 14 Pro Max 256GB Space Black on the 28th October, no update as yet. On the apple site that same colour and spec is showing as not available for delivery until 3rd - 5th December so i'd use that as a guide and allow a few days extra.
This happens every year, when I bought the 2021 iPad Pro 12.9 inch space grey 1TB model last year, I waited 52 days from date of order to delivery. Apple products are in short supply due to their largest factory in China having an employee walk out. Given it's Apple there is also high demand which they cannot really fulfil.
