I ordered my iPhone on 26th September, and my order status still says “Order Placed”. When can I realistically expect my phone to be delivered?
This is becoming a joke. EE is selling phones that they clearly don’t have in stock, while customers are left waiting for weeks with no proper updates. How is it possible that people who ordered later are being given shorter waiting times than those of us who ordered earlier?

You'd have been told the expected timeframe or it would have been clear online when ordering. It's not a joke on EE's side they can only deliver when they get stock from Apple & everyone has to have it straightaway. You'll get it before someone who ordered it after you will as well, just later orders have a shorter timeframe

I understand that EE depends on Apple for stock, but my point is that I ordered on 26 September and my order is still showing as “Order placed”. I’ve been waiting for weeks with no clear update.
If customers ordering later are being given shorter estimated waiting times, it’s reasonable to ask why there is still no progress on my order. I’m not expecting to receive it immediately, but I do expect transparent information about when it will actually be dispatched.
Can EE provide a realistic dispatch estimate for my order, rather than just saying it depends on stock?

Honestly, EE is becoming a joke. I ordered my phone on 26 September and it’s still showing “Order placed” with no dispatch date and no proper update. Selling phones without having enough stock to fulfil orders is ridiculous. And telling customers to just wait because Apple hasn’t supplied the stock doesn’t make the situation any less frustrating. Customers deserve transparency and realistic delivery estimates, not excuses.

They had stock but ran out of as it's been popular. It's ridiculous you're having s pop at EE when stock is nothing to do with them. You've been given a timescale & orders are dispatched based on an order of when placed so you'll get yours before someone who placed after yours

EE absolutely has a lot to do with it! If they can’t accurately forecast demand and ensure they have enough stock, why are they continuing to sell phones they don’t actually have available?
They’re taking customers’ orders and setting delivery expectations without having the stock to fulfil them. That’s EE’s responsibility, not the customer’s. You can’t blame high demand for everything when a company chooses to sell products it cannot supply within the promised timeframe.
I ordered on 26 September and was given a 21-day timescale. That deadline has passed, and my phone still hasn’t been dispatched. Stop acting like EE has no responsibility here. If you don’t have the stock, don’t keep selling the phone as if you can deliver it within a reasonable timeframe. It’s really not that complicated.

Ulsonik you’re absolutely right. I ordered on 25th and still have had no update. I understand they don’t have stock (which is crazy because I believe you shouldn’t sell stock you don’t have??) but regardless I can’t understand why the actual tracking process isn’t more transparent? EG. ‘Apple delivery is expected ___’ or something. But these blanket statements of ‘21 days’ or ‘more than 28 days’ are either false or could literally mean on any random say… at the end of the day it’s first world problems but it’s good to have a moan 😭

Really?? 😂😂😂 So I should just wait until midnight then? Maybe EE will magically dispatch my phone at 00:00 tonight! 😂😂

You're moaning it's past 3 weeks, just factually pointing out it's not
First world problems for sure but if no updates tomorrow i'd try calling
