iPhone 17 delayed order

I ordered my iPhone 17 pay as you go phone on 31st October and was advised it would be dispatched within 14 days… today is 14 days and still no updates.

I have called EE and been told that it’s not showing any stock is available and can’t see when it’ll be back in stock?

Do I just wait and hope for the best?

Thanks @Bpatts43

We're still estimating 14 days on this version, and our oldest outstanding order is from the 6th of November, so everything seems to be on track right now.

If you wanted to discuss alternative options I would recommend getting in touch with our team, but any changes you make would be a brand new order and subject to different timescales.

Peter

@Bpatts43  I would contact EE. My date of order was 31st October for the same phone as you and I have been told as of last Friday to expect to wait another 1-2 weeks.

Thank you very much for the heads up! I will do that! Thank you!

Kind regards,

Hi Peter, are there any further updates following our conversation yesterday? What with all the back orders everywhere I have to say I think I want to change my order. I was speaking to my wife who is also in telecoms and provides these handsets to business', apparently Apple cant even get them in to their own UK stores due to lack of availability....? I think there needs to be some solid announcement to let people know. What do you think? What do you advise?

Just wondering if anyone has actually received their version of the iphone 17 yet?

Hi again @Bpatts43.

I've had a look at our stock today, and there are some iPhone models with stock availability and shorter estimated waits, so you could absolutely look at amending the order.

Just be aware that this would be seen as a fresh order, so if you were to change model you'd be forgoing your current place in the queue for this version.

If you give our team a call they can give you a full breakdown of the different options available.
