So this is mystifying. Apparently upon speaking to another rep today the release date is the 25th and he was confused when I said 'people were already getting them from EE on the 18th. I have absolutely no idea now. I guess we'll just have to see if ours arrive on the 25th.

Same thing as me when I ordered my phone they said the 18th July. When I rang them today oh the phone dosent come out till the 25th. I'm like fella I'm it crazy EE told me the 18th.

Mine was shipped on Saturday arrived local depot Sunday...but cos in live 10 minutes outside of city in north east Scotland I'm classed as Highlands... what a joke so hope delivery will be tomorrow

I have ordered on 15th July there is no update, even card is not charged yet, it's on "authorization in progress" also I am travelling outside country on 27th Morning, hope to get it delivered before that.

Might be an issue with the order itself, as the charge would no longer be pending as EE would have claimed it from the bank.
Id give them a ring tbh

Update for me: rang again today as still no DPD tracking. This rep said my order was cancelled over a week ago for 'duplicate orders'. I only ordered once, originally on the 9th July. I had heard or had no emails or contact from EE since then. Nothing. And I checked junk mail too. The rep then said that they could build the same order up over the phone, so I opted to do that and was polite as the rep was doing what they could and was trying to be helpful.
Get to the end and the rep told me what the total of contract plan plus phone was. This amount was £10 more than I originally had as my 'cancelled' order. I told the rep this and they suggested maybe it was a new plan or additional line/broadband discount. I said nope, it was definitely an upgrade and I definitely haven't got or ordered anything to do with EE broadband. Anyway, I then go on the website while I'm still on the phone. Add the same phone (Z Fold 7 512GB, Blue Shadow) to the basket with all the same addons and contract and months' agreements. Comes to the £10 less that I originally ordered again, but the website quoted 'technical issues' and to 'ring 150'. The rep on the phone - since I was still on the line - was confused and said they could only do what they could see, which would cost me £10 more per month.
I thanked the rep since they were trying to be helpful and could only do what they could see on their system, I guess. I said I'm going to cancel completely and get the phone through somewhere else like Samsung themselves. Because I was upgrading, I 'upgraded' my plan to a sim-only deal instead. The total of getting the phone through Samsung with preorder discounts on finance + upgrading my contract with EE to a sim-only deal is pretty much what I would have paid to EE monthly if they'd allowed me the original order.
I won't get the phone from Samsung until August 1st now, but at least it's coming.
Very, very frustrated with EE.

Decided to taller advantage of the deal for watch 8 ultra down from 36 to 22..... spoke to someone on chat.....specifically saying the 8 ultra and for £22....Received today spent 2 +hours sering it up only to discover its the ultra 7 last years model.... half the memory half the ram etc ... and obviously when I try to claim free charging pad from Samsung in not going to get it as it's wrong model and obviously not going to l very it at 22 a month...

When I ordered my Fold 7 the guy on 150 said I'd be eligible le for a free Watch 8, I think because I got the full works plan, has anyone else been told this? I couldn't see many details online, what I did find was a discount on adding the Watch 8, but not a free one to claim, have I been mislead?

Yes, I was advised of this too, now I can only see somewhat vague suggestions of one half price but still appears to be adding at full price regardless.... This was one of the main reasons I opted to preorder rather than wait a while, very frustrating!

I think it's certain handsets....ie fold 7 flip 7 s25 etc ... doesn't matter tarriff
