Bit random but looking for ideas please! Got my husband an iPad couple of years ago; the contact has just ended so I upgraded on Christmas Eve to a 2024 Apple iPad for him. But he doesn’t want it, thinks it’s a waste of money as he’s happy with his current iPad. I can’t cancel the contact/upgrade as I upgraded in an EE shop. (Could have cancelled if done online).
Any ideas welcome now please! I’m thinking I can’t sell the iPad as I’m on a contract? Or when can I cancel it without a hefty cancellation fee?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @LornaB5 Thanks for getting in touch with us here at the EE Community.
During the first 6 months of your contract, You'll not be able to sell your new device, the exception to this is when you take a deal on a Flex agreement. You can find a link to our terms where you can find more information here
You'll certainly be able to sell your old tablet though.

The iPad is yours, you could sell it and use it to pay off the contract, however this unlikely to cover the cost of the remaining contract which you will need to pay off. You would be better off selling the old iPad and just keeping the new one.
