Upgrade from abroad issue "call on 0800 079 0531"

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to upgrade my 2 SIM plans for another year. Did it through EE app like i did for the past 4 years, but after an hour i received email saying:

Your order is almost complete, we will have you up and running soon.
We need a bit more information from you to complete the order.
If you can give us a call on  0800 079 0531, with your XKO ready.

Problem is i cant afford to pay silly rates calling from abroad just to upgrade my sim card. EE live chat doesn't work, can't find customer support email.

Please help

Thank You

Try calling that Freephone no. over Skype. It should be free.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Which country are you in? If you're within the EU, calling EE C/S on +44 7953 966250 is free. If all you want to do is change your payment plan, an agent should be able to do this during a call.

If you're in any other country, then I'd suggest using one of the other 0800 numbers mentioned by @XRaySpeX using a web calling app.

I'm currently in Belarus. I've managed to speak to support team through Twitter. They called me, i did mention few times about rates that i can't afford for incoming calls. They said i wont be charged for it. But now I've checked my EE account finding out shocking slap in the face £100 for extra charges.....

Hi @Egor94

Thanks for coming to the community about this.

If we called you when you're outside the UK then we do take care of the charges for that call.

Are all the charges from when we called you?

Thanks.

Chris.
