Unable to recieve pin code

I'm about to upgrade my phone but the pin verification isn't working. Apparently they've sent me a pin but I haven't received anything and now I've reached the limit of pin numbers they can send.

What should I do?

Could you try restarting your device, do the texts come through for you? 

Do you have more than one number on your account?
