Sheer frustration

I ordered an upgrade to my phone contract of 20 years (originally Orange)  on 24th October.  New phone arrived next morning but I could  not take delivery of it because the delivery man needed a PIN which I  couldn't provide as my existing phone was completely locked and therefore I had no access. This was why I  ordered the upgrade to overcome the problem of no access. DPD subsequently returned the new phone to EE and it was verbally confirmed to me fhat it was back with EE on 1st November and it usually takes up to 3 days to update my account. It is now 8th November and still my account is not updated so I cannot reorder for delivery to my local  EEshop as I can take in I/D to collect. There are people I need to contact but have no access to their phone numbers which is most annoying. How much longer is this going to drag on

@Winlobb  You can put your existing sim in to any device.

Just to point out if you’ve upgraded then it’s a new contract every time you upgrade it’s not just a new phone.  .

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thankyou. My grandson has given me his old i phone and I am using that with my existing sim but that doesn't give me access to my contacts and it doesn't resolve my account getting updated so I  can reorder

If it's an upgrade, pop into your local EE store. They can use a spare phone to verify 1 time pin . And proceed with an upgrade.
