Scam? Yes, EE, u ARE a SCAM.. I am not the only "customer" trying to buy...

Finally got through your registration process, painful.

Then tells me I need to "add an account" or "join the EE Community".

Did the EE Community bit...........but STILL nowhere to go once at that stage, so go back to the NREAL AIR buy it as a one off page and it asks me to login again, and then I get  "add an account" or "join the EE Community" again.

EE, sort this out, do you REALLY want to sell these glasses??

I phoned up, then got told I need to have a mobile Sim card AT LEAST before I can buy the glasses, which is also B*ll**bleep**, nowhere else does it mention this.

SO MANY COMPANIES of late seemingly happy to take the ****, because your support phone people telling me I need at least a Sim card means I am being forced into an EE contract.   The sheer fact the webpage tells me I can buy them as a one off payment proves this contract nonsense is exactly that...................nonce ense.

I already have, they said that the system will not let them order the item without a existing contract. Apparently there is no option available in store. I honestly have spent all day on this, as I went out to just buy them outright today with no joy. This was 2 Leeds stores. A lengthy conversation with complaints team helped me identify that no UK store are currently stocking the item and the only way to order is by having a existing contract.

Had an update from Nreal direct which is super helpful

@CrazyDano1 so you can purchase them outright if your not a EE customer.  Just a shame it’s only few stores that actually have them to sell.

Yeah, just a shame I had to go put so much effort into getting the correct information. EE literally don't have a clue. Luckily I have now arranged to collect a pair. After calling one of the stores and them not even knowing they were a selected store and trying to tell me the same speal about it being a addon exclusive. But hey I'm happy now, I really hope the information I got helps anyone else struggling with purchasing NReal air as a non EE customer 😊. Thank you everyone
