...one off payment an NREAL AIR.
Finally got through your registration process, painful.
Then tells me I need to "add an account" or "join the EE Community".
Did the EE Community bit...........but STILL nowhere to go once at that stage, so go back to the NREAL AIR buy it as a one off page and it asks me to login again, and then I get "add an account" or "join the EE Community" again.
EE, sort this out, do you REALLY want to sell these glasses??
I phoned up, then got told I need to have a mobile Sim card AT LEAST before I can buy the glasses, which is also B*ll**bleep**, nowhere else does it mention this.
SO MANY COMPANIES of late seemingly happy to take the ****, because your support phone people telling me I need at least a Sim card means I am being forced into an EE contract. The sheer fact the webpage tells me I can buy them as a one off payment proves this contract nonsense is exactly that...................nonce ense.

EE are perfectly entitled to only offer outright payment to their customers
Perhaps they are, but what firm in their right mind would refuse anyone from buying 1 of their products at full price if they are prepared to make that payment outright immediately?
Shopkeeper: "You can't buy anything off the shelf unless you've bought from here before!" 😉

It does.
And I have CLEARLY stated my experience today.
No-one seems to have listened to that, they only check out the store page as they only have fond EE memories and believe everything EE has setup for NREAL AIR will be tickety boo.
"You may buy them from a store" does clerarly show, i told you guys this on an earlier post.
And to repeat, they dont mention that one local store will think they are trainers, the other local store will tell you "you can only buy them online!"
So having gone through all that never ending loop today, who can blame me for being disgruntled.
Luckily livechat looked into it and have lined me up a store visit tomorrow.
Wont surprise me if they completely ignore the livechat guys efforts and tell me "i can only order them online"......................
I repeat yet again, EE is one big mess for NREAL AIR.
I was wrong to state they are a SCAM, i should have said "EE are a bit Lionel for NREAL AIR"

Reviews all over the WWW are in no way binding on EE. You've heard of false news? Only EE can specify what its terms are.

If a mod is able to change the title for me please to
"EE are a bit Lionel for NREAL AIR"
it would be much appreciated, as it doesnt seem to give me the option on the OP to do that.
Oh, and also remove my asterisked out swear words, I was a bit over the top.
Thanks,
Thanks

Agree on that, reviews cant be the whole truth or all the facts.
I would be happy to get a Sim only contract with EE but as I also mentioned earlier, maybe to my livechat rep, it wont even allow me to do that!
On the options below, the only one that works is the join EE community, the other two, unsurprisingly with what I have already call the mess re: NREAL AIR, want already contracted phones or broadband services in place to link in to.
Nothing about a one off purchase or even choosing an 11 month contract.
Chances are they have hardly sold any.

Not even an EE Home BB service will get you this item online.

Spot on XRaySpeX.
If the store tomorrow says I need to visit the Moon to purchase this (watch this space.....lol), then I will go the Ebay Japan route, and hope customs "think its a gift".
😉
Anyway apologies to EE and anyone on here I might have seemed angry towards, I have had a bad day!

I'm having the same issue, spoke to 3 EE stores that said they don't stock them and can only be added as an addon to an existing plan. Called customer services which stated no store in the UK are stocking in stores. You can only buy online if you have a exciting EE contract 17months or more.
I agree with the title, EE have made an agreement with NReal to disrupte this product and are using them as a means to gain new contracts buy purposely not stocking to buy outright in the UK stores. This is unfair and probably against the agreement between Nreal and EE otherwise it won't state a buy outright option on the marketing documentation.
If anyone can support me in my current case by providing me with same experiences, I would really appreciate it. I've contacted Nreal direct to express this concern for EE making the product contract only in hopes this sparks an internal investigation.
Thank you.

@CrazyDano1 You can purchase these in store that store will have to order them in for you if it’s not a stock the item in store. You do not have to be a contract customer of EE to purchase these outright from a store.
perhaps you should show them the screen shot that @Gareth43 has posted above as they might not be aware of what they can actually do.
