You should be good to go. Some time later tonight you'll no doubt get a confirmation from DPD (possibly disguised to look like it's from EE) saying that the delivery is scheduled for tomorrow. Some time tomorrow, by 11am, you should get an e-mail and/or SMS giving you your 1-hour slot.

@Lauraburns2148 Do you have the DPD app installed on your phone? *THAT* is what will give you accurate information. EE are somewhat behind in their information dished out.

Yeah, I've had it installed for a few years now as I've received multiple parcels from them before including the galaxy watch 4 in march. No idea what has happened with this order.

@Lauraburns2148 The GW4 is a great smartwatch. I've had one since it came out last August but just upgraded to the GW5 Pro, which looks like it's going to give me a good 4 or 4½ days battery life on one charge.
Maybe silly questions but bear with me... Have you maybe changed e-mail addresses since the last DPD delivery? Make sure the e-mail address on file with DPD matches the one you used to place the order with EE and that it has been verified by DPD. Are you sure the mobile phone number that DPD has on file is up to date? Have you maybe moved house and the address DPD have on file no longer matches the delivery address?

I added an email address with EE but I have both email addresses added to my dpd app that have been verified about a week ago. No change of phone number or address either. I'm just praying the notification comes in tomorrow morning. Thanks for your help it's greatly appreciated.

FWIW, the DPD app says mine arrived at the local depot in Preston at 5:30am. No time slot yet from DPD but that should come through later this morning.

No nothing yet. I'm really annoyed but these things happen. You seem to know about ee. Could I do this? If they haven't sent a device can I go to an ee shop and get one or does it have to be delivered? Probably a really silly question.

@Lauraburns2148 Well I don't know EE more than I do any other mobile network operator, and like any other they are driven by money alone.
The only way you're going to get this resolved is to speak to someone, and the best way to do that is to pretend you're thinking of leaving when pressing keys on your phone. You'll be surprised how quickly you'll get through to retentions even if they have to redirect you internally afterwards.
Then simply explain that you placed the preorder, that the up-front cost was taken (was it?) and that since then you have had zero communication either from EE or from DPD except a text message to say that your contract was changing (I got that in a flurry of 3 text messages yesterday). No order confirmation, no order tracking link and no indication that a phone has even been reserved for you, let alone dispatched to arrive on release day.
Prepare to be given the run-around and be persistent, customers with legitimate queries are an inconvenience that they'd rather sweep under the carpet because they can't make money off it. At least it's an 0800 number but it's also your time.

Morning All
Woke up to DPD app telling me I'll have my phone between 10:16 & 11:16 today.
Also got a text message from EE, which is the first communication from them, pretty poor effort when you are buying the most expensive phone they sell.
