I got myself a 5g home broadband but I decided to return it due to intermittent signal strength after 1 week of owning it
i have since try to get a return pack twice with no success and when the returns team finally contact me, they tell me that it’s all been resolved when it clearly hasn’t this to me feels like an EE scam to prevent people from returning their devices in the 14 day window.
someone from me needs to resolve this because this feels like a traded standard issue to me

Statutory 14days cancellation counts from when you advise a retailer that goods are to be returned.
The actual date of return is immaterial.
