Returning Airtime Phone

Peadar

Hi

I recently upgraded instore to iPhone 15Pro with an airtime sim contract.

The phone had to be delivered to me and by the time it was delivered I had changed my mind. I brought the phone back to the store for a refund so I could revert back to my old contract and choose a different upgrade at a later date.

However the my EE app is saying that I am still on the new sim contract (which I refunded in store). How long will it take to show that I am able to upgrade again?

@Peadar : If you ordered in-store you have no "change-of-mind" right of return.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

But they took my phone off me and I have a receipt of a refund?

I was told I would be able to upgrade again

Maybe they later realised you had no right. You need to take it up with the store.

But I did get a refund in store so that’s completely untrue that you cannot get a 14 day refund in store.

im also just wondering when I will be able to upgrade again.

Hi @Peadar,

Please allow 2-5 working days for your account to revert back to your old plan.

Once this has been done, you'll be able to upgrade again.

I didn't say you can't get a refund from a Store, only that you've no right to one.

Hi James, it’s been 5 working days so far and still hasn’t reverted my upgrade?

Hi @Peadar,

I'd recommend contacting the EE store you returned the phone to for confirmation it has been returned.

Thanks

James

It has been returned, just checked with them
