I placed my order on the 12th, was told it would be a maximum of 7 days waiting time for the new phone (IPhone 17 pro max Silver/White 256gb) to be dispatched and delivered the following day.
Spoke with An agent a few days ago and today (20th Dec) they have said it will be another 8-10 days for dispatch/delivery. However, I am not optimistic on this… seems as if everyone is in the same boat here

The timescale at the point you placed the order was estimated to be 7 days.
It does show that the oldest outstanding order for the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB in Silver is from 18th December, so I would recommend speaking to our guides again to check your order.
Any new orders placed from yesterday lunchtime have a timescale of more than 28 days, so I'm not sure where they are getting 8-10 days from.

I came out of a live chat an hour or so ago with an agent (before your reply.)
As I previously mentioned, I ordered the phone/upgraded on the 12th and was told it would be 7 days to dispatch (19th Dec) but the agent I spoke to has said that there is an issue with stock and/or delivery and that it would be another 8-10 days from now (17 days from the original order/upgrade date at the most) which would take the delivery into the new year.
My return pack has been dispatched for my current phone to trade in but not my new phone, the agent did also compensate me a whopping £10 on my account because of the issue but also specified this is because I am “A loyal, 11+ year customer and always pay on time”
Hope I have abit more detail about this now I have concluded the conversation with them. Any further help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I can only go by the stock information @Podders98, as we don't have account access here on the community, but from that information it doesn't match up to what the chat team have told you.
I would recommend giving our team a call so they can check for you, and see the order itself.
