I am trying to upgrade my phone ( got free upgrade) when i select the phone and at the checkout its says i have to pay the upgrade fee ( £168.00)

@vivienne62 , this is perfectly normal, as phones are very expensive, so you will have to pay some of it, and then the rest will be on your monthly contract, this should be explained when you choose the phone, how much you have to pay and the rest is on a monthly basis. If you are unsure or need more advice, I would suggest you speak to customer service, but there is always an advance payment, depending how much the device costs. Hope this helps. It also depends how much you are paying per month on your contract.
