i ordered a sim 10 days ago, got a confirmation email, when i look at my account it says there's an issue and cant display any info, still being charged for the old contract, cant use the app, cant use the message function, waiting times on the phone are somewhat trying, not brilliant really,  seeing as this thread was opened a year ago and its still the same issues

It's a contract renewal sim, and no, I sat waiting for someone for a good while but gave up due to time constraints,

I'm sure the SIM cards come through the postal service, @Garethjd. I think it's definitely worth giving our mobile care team a quick call so they can check it for you. Or pop into your nearest EE store, if it's easier.

Yeah fully aware they come via the postal service, why my current SIM can't be updated I will never know, and I tried calling as mentioned before, popping into a local store isnt really an option, that's why I ordered it online, which apart from this portal, doesn't seem to work in any facet, all the while being charged full whack on a out of contract bill, you know I don't think I've ever dealt with EE and it went well, but unfortunately it's the only provider with good service where I work, so im stuck with truly abysmal service everywhere else.

Could be worth trying again, @Garethjd. Once you're able to get through, I'm sure they'll be able to answer your questions and check the order.
