So - I spent over 4 hours the other week holding for customer service so that I could complete my purchase. I was told the 4th was the delivery date.
I got a mail on the 4th telling me:
"Your order's on track.
Your order is confirmed but we’re awaiting your expected delivery date. This is while we wait for delivery confirmation from the manufacturer. We’ll be in touch soon with an update on your order."
It then gives a link to the page to track my order. That says:
Sorry, we can't show your order details right now.
Don't worry, we'll keep you updated on the progress of your order by text or email. Keep an eye out for these updates from EE or from our courier DPD.

WHEN WILL I GET MY ORDER. WHY ARE YOU NOT COMMUNICATING.
NO WONDER YOU HAVE TO Q FOR HOURS TO SPEAK WITH CS. YOU DONT TELL ANYONE ANYTHING!!!

Hi the exact same thing happened to me I have spoke to them there trying to say they've never had any in stock and the delivery time was indefinite and the website didn't say 4/09/24 pre order. I have screen shots they have also said I will have to choose another device or wait for them to come on stock.
I moved my broadband and came over tomEE For this deal with the discount of having both it has cost me £330 exit fees for virgin which they will credit me, already took my one off payment of £30 for the phone and my contract has ran out with O2 have to wait for the SIM and new contract to come with the phone which is indefinite. Great welcome to a new service, might just cancel is all go back to virgin and O2
