Orderd SIM instead of Esim

I have just placed a new order and have realised I have ordered a physical SIM instead of an ESIM.  I have been unable to contact EE as my number is not yet recognised.  Any suggestions would be helpful please. Thank you.

Once you have the physical SIM card, you can then change it to an ESim.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

How do I change my sim to eSIM

You can set up an eSIM via your EE account.
