Order Delay

I'm currently upgrading from SIM only to a new phone and I placed the order on Sunday.  I've had the confirmation email saying it will be despatched within 24 hours but I've still not heard anything at all.  When I check my orders online it's not showing and when I put the order number in I just get a message saying "sorry we can't show your order details right now".  I can't call because I'm at work.  Any ideas why the delay?

Thanks for coming to the community.

I can understand you'll be keen to get your hands on your new phone.

If the phone is in stock it would often be out for delivery on a Tuesday if it was ordered on a Sunday.

I can check the stock to see if there is any wait. Which model of phone did you order?

This is same as me nut I ordered last week! From a long standing customer we EE I'm very disappointed 

 

I’ve just phoned (52 minute call!!) had to literally place the order again
because apparently all the information didn’t go through online! It is
sorted now & it’s coming tomorrow so may be worth giving them a call but
yeah - not the best service!

Nice choice @Deflorscca.

It is showing that model is in stock so there shouldn't be any delays to that. 

If you've not heard anything from DPD about the delivery in the next 24 hours, I recommend speaking to our customer service guides and they can bring up the order and check when it is expected to be with you.
