New customer not happy at all

I decided to get a phone that my daughter can use with EE I was told in an email my order was being processed that afternoon. Later that evening I was then sent a text asking me to call as there was an error with my order and to contact them. This is a lot harder than people think who suffer with anxiety but after waiting 34 mins the call went dead. My anxiety is so bad now that I’m struggling to call again.

I did not realise getting a phone would be so stressful. Surely It’s false information you have given in the email you sent once youve completed the order stating you will let me know once the order is going to be delivered I’ve even paid money up front. I find it intriguing how most posts have the same problem involving this text seems like everyone has to do it.

@Mikey2023   You’ve had confirmation of order that order hasn’t been accepted and your upfront payment doesn’t mean an order has to be accepted.    If there is an issue with the order for what ever reason that issue has to be resolved before the order will be processed.    It’s not false information to receive that automatically generated email especially when someone about your order has thrown up a red flag to stop that order being processed.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

That’s your opinion and this was mine. I will cancel my order.

I placed an order on the 06/10/2023 and still waiting for it. It’s a running joke now. I am waiting to see just how long it takes :). Good choice on cancelling though.
