I couldn't have had two different experiences when recently contacting EE.
Both my home Broadband and mobile commitment periods were coming to and end.
The first to expire was my broadband, I did a little shopping around and found Vodafone were offering 500 Mbps for £30 a month I contacted EE Broadband retentions. The chap was pleasant enough, however I was told the best EE could do was 150Mbps for £32.99 a month. I asked about if there was anything that could be done to come somewhere close to the Voda offer? The answer was a definitive no, so I'm now a Vodafone Broadband customer.
A couple of weeks later I called back about my mobile, expecting the same outcome. However the guy on mobile loyalty and retentions was the antithesis of the broadband chap. After I told him that I'd found a deal on another network, and that I was disappointed to leave EE but given my previous experience I wasn't expecting anything other than the products and prices offered on the EE Web shop. However, this guy was completely the opposite, he asked what device I was looking for and talked me through the airtime plan options. I also mentioned I was looking at a watch with a linked plan and I had another 2 lines on the account, one of which was my elderly fathers. He advised me that the 2 additional lines were the best for my needs and I wouldn't need to make any changes to them. But he was amazing and put together a handset and watch deal, which I was more than happy with. Normally I wouldn't have taken a 36 month term, but the deal he put together was ideal and within budget, so EE now has my patronage for another 3 years.
I've been a T-Mobile then EE customer for nearly 20 years, and because of this chap I now feel my brand loyalty is valued.
Unfortunately I can't remember his name (my aging memory is poor), but could someone let me know how I can find out who gave me this amazing service and who I can contact to sing his praises?

Hey there @Who-me-no.
Welcome to the EE Community, and thanks for taking the time to let us know about the experience you've had with our team recently.
When you spoke with our mobile upgrades team, did you get a survey at the end of the call?
If you did I'd definitely recommend filling this out, as it allows you to leave a comment and will go direct to the Guide's team leader.
If you can't find this though, please feel free to send me a private message and I'll see what we can do to pass this on 😊
Peter
