Hi, I'm hoping someone from EE can help with my MacBook Neo order.

I ordered an Apple MacBook Neo 13-inch, 256GB in Indigo on 14 September on finance. When I ordered, the estimated dispatch time showed more than 28 days.

The website for the exact same Indigo 256GB model has since changed from more than 28 days → 14 days → 7 days.

Today (18 September), I also received an email saying "Thanks for your order. We're getting it ready for you."

Could someone from EE please clarify what stage my order is currently at, and whether this email means my order has been allocated stock/is being prepared for dispatch? Also, with the current website estimate now showing 7 days, is there any indication when my existing order will be dispatched.

That email would normally be good news, as it means that your order is being prepared.

Keep an eye out for a further update to let you know when it is on the way and when it will be delivered.

Yeah I think it's good because now the shops saying 

Usually dispatched within 3 days 

So if I've got an order from the 13th September and have received the getting it ready email then that that's a good sign.

As @Michael_D has advised, you will get another update to let you know when your order is on the way and tracking details from the courier to let you know when this will be delivered.

I wouldn’t expect anything anytime soon, those emails mean nothing.

I ordered on the 15th of August & I’m still waiting for my delivery. I have had the ‘Thanks for your order. We're getting it ready for you.’ emails 1-2 times per week since ordering.

I called EE on Friday & they said they are still waiting for stock & orders will be sent out in the order that people placed the orders but they can’t tell me when I will receive mine. Just said at the very earliest end of October but could be after that!

I keep seeing the EE support team replying with the same thing, saying it’s good news. Why can’t they just look into it properly!
