Hi there, every time I upgrade my phone and begin a new plan I am unable to text. This has happened the last 2-3 times. My new plan has started but my phone isn’t being delivered til tomorrow but I cannot text anymore. If I ring EE I have to go through about an hour of switching my phone off and on and changing the network provider and back to EE. None of this ever works. The only thing that works is when the EE operator refers it to Level 2 and I get a text from EE telling me to switch off my phone and back on and it works perfectly after this. Can someone at EE please have a look into this for me. I really don’t want to have to spend over an hour on the phone just for a level 2 text message to fix it. Thank you. Has anyone else had similar issues?

Hello @KatP1978 ,
Welcome to the community,
No-one here has access to your account, the best time to ring customer service is probably first thing in the morning.
Not sure why you are having these problems, never happened to me. Are you otherwise able to still use your old phone? What phone do you actually have?

Hi there thank you for your reply. I am all new to this. I think you are right, I am going to have to ring them just beg them to take me straight to level 2. Other than texting I can use my phone. It normally only happens once I transfer to new phone. I’m on iPhone. Literally is the only thing that goes wrong when I transfer to another phone/plan. Wish me luck 🙂
