EE website is misleading, previously it was on the website that the iPhone 16 pro max is in stock and will be shipped within 1-3 days. This is misleading the customer. I ask for an immediate refund and cancellation of the transaction. The bank informed me that the transaction is pending (the money has left the account), please cancel it.

Each iPhone Pro Max version has its own estimated delivery timescale depending on the size and colour that you choose. We try to keep it updated with the latest estimate.

I'm sorry to hear that you have cancelled the order, once the cancellation fully goes through, the pending transaction should clear. It's usually within seven days.
