Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

Anyone else actually been able to preorder/upgrade? The website just loops me back to the screen with the option to upgrade as soon as I click on the device?

I was able to Pre-Order my iPhone 16 Pro Max - Very happy!

When I refreshed the homepage (already logged in) the page changed and said I was able to upgrade, with the very first option being the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Clicked through and went through all the stages with no trouble.

I was hoping to upgrade online but I’m having an issue with it loading upgrades 🙄 onto the phone

Aww that’s amazing. Hopefully il be able to pre order this I’m on the phone
now to ee. The max is huge too don’t know if It’s too big I now have the
plus but the max is 2inch bigger lol

Agent on the phone refused to waiver the 100 upgrade fee for early upgrade. Mine is due on 22nd September. If that’s the case for everyone then those that had theirs on launch day last year on the anytime upgrade will be stiffed with having to pay £100 for the sake of a week. No thanks I will wait. They also said that the cost of 16 pro max 256 on full works with insurance was £136 per month. On that you only get 1 exclusive extra and no anytime upgrade. So they have lowered the benefits and hiked the price for myself by £45 per month. That’s insane.

I always call to upgrade, I like to chat and pay more upfront if I can but my stress levels go through the roof.They keep trolling me when it goes quiet and changes track! What you going for?

I think they have done myself and others a favour this year.

Upping the contract costs, not allowing 20% off on the full price with an EE Perk code, apparently not removing the £100 anytime upgrade fee, removing the anytime upgrade program, so you'll be f****d in 12 months if you want to upgrade again. 

This is on top of the yearly s**t show of preordering, not getting the devices on launch day, severe lack of communication.

I have personally preordered from elsewhere.
