Just ordering your new phone from EE doesn’t mean you’ll get a tracking number straight away. I’m sure it is DPD the company that EE uses to deliver orders who will provide the tracking number. The phone will have to be handed to DPD for a tracking number to become active so you can follow your phone’s progress towards being delivered. It is really helpful to have the DPD app so you can watch your new phone’s journey even when the delivery driver is just around the corner from you making another delivery! The DPD app has never let me down. FYI, you can even put a photo of your front door on the app so the delivery driver knows they are delivering to the right address - brilliant!
