Hi,
I upgraded my phone to this new google pixel unaware how new it actually was. When I did it last week she never mentioned how long it would take so I opened a chat on the app on Friday but wasn’t connected to someone until Saturday!
who then told me that they have a massive back order and suggested if I went for the higher GB phone (obviously more money) I could get it Monday… my old phone isn’t working amazingly anymore so went through the full contract again and miraculously when submitting the order it was no longer available for Monday… hmmm! So now I’m back on the list again I just need a rough date but my issue is I’ve now signed up to paying more monthly in the hope I could get the phone sooner which I can’t and I upgraded a month early paid an upgrade fee when if it’s going to take a month to actually come I’ve just wasted my money. Poor service and should have been told all this at the start.

Welcome back to the Community.
When you purchase a new phone we always aim to give you the most accurate timescale for delivery we can, but this isn't updated in real time so occasionally a model can sell out in the time between when you order and this hitting our warehouse.
What colour and storage version of the Pixel 9 Pro XL is it you went for originally, and which did you switch to?

I went for porcelain 250gb
And then switched to porcelain 500gb which was supposed to come sooner I believe

Thanks for confirming that for me, @BethJH7
When having a check of our stock, the current guidance is that it's 14 days for the 256GB version in Porcelain, whilst it's 7 days for the 512GB version.
As of when I've written this post, it's just the 512GB model in Obsidian, and the 256GB model in Rose Quartz that are showing as available for next day delivery, but this can change depending on demand.
