I requested for my sim card to be replaced and I've ordered this 9 days ago and I have been told that it should come in 1-2 buisness days

Sims are sent second class and at this time of the year additional postal delays will also impact delivery.

If you wanted a SIM you should take identification and go into an EE store for immediate replacement.
