EE phone number

Is 01942 901395 a legitimate EE number. Had a call saying my order is stuck on a reserve line and need to redo the whole thing again so it goes through. Also said the £30 upfront I’ve already paid has been refunded to my EE account rather than back to my bank account and I’d need to pay it again today to redo my order. However, I rang CS on 150 on 9/1/26 and they said my order had gone through and they were just waiting on stock to arrive so just a bit confused

I've checked our Phone numbers EE partners will call from web page, and I can see that one of our partners may call from that number.

You certainly did the right thing by contacting us to check the number was legitimate first.

Why would an EE partner be phoning about an EE order? It sounds like an opportunistic deception to gain another order thro' them by pretending the order has been stuck or cancelled when it's really gone thro'.
