EE Sim only order.

I ordered a sim only plan this morning at 11:30am over the phone and the guy who I spoke to approved my basket. Does this mean my order has been accepted and that because I haven’t received an email confirming the purchase or an order number as of yet. Do I have to wait until the order has been processed to receive an email. Can anyone let me know if my order accepted/Placed so that I don’t have to worry.

Hi @joshy It's great news that you've gone for a sim only deal with us 🙂

 

If one of our advisors processed the deal over the phone for you, and they've stated that the deal is all processed, then the deal should be all set up for you.

Did they send you a link so that you can see the deal and the terms and conditions while you were speaking to them on the phone?

No they send me a link via text so that my basket could get approval that’s all. I’ve not had any emails or updates regarding the order at all.

Perfect, thanks for letting me know @joshy I just want to make sure I have this spot on, did they send you a screen share link while you were on the phone, where you could see the plan and then terms and conditions, then ticked everything to say that you were happy to proceed?

Yes they did send me a screen share link but when I click download the basket approval comes up as £ £ £ £ with no amounts of how much the deals is or that. That the only thing I have for the order nothing confirming that the order is placed.

Thank you, it sounds like the deal most likely will have been processed if they sent you the screen share and it was all agreed and completed by yourself. 

I'd recommend giving our customer service team a call on 150 from an EE phone or 0800 956 6000 so that we can confirm that it's all completed for you.
