Why can't DPD leave my parcel in a safe place or with my neighbour? I've paid them for a Sunday delivery  but just got a message stating  due to a local issue my delivery will now be tomorrow.  I've taken time off work for a delivery that now isn't going ahead.

@Si6872  Because it has to be handed to over to a person at that address.    It can be anyone who opens the door for the delivery.

I'm the only one who lives here, so I arranged  for it to be delivered  today which DPD charged me for the privilege. I received  a message this morning that it won't be delivered due to a local issue. They'll try again tomorrow  so I'm back to square one. I have seen the same reported back in February  from the same Swansea depot. I can't even collect  it from them due to them still using covid as an excuse.  Other delivery firms supply a better service.
