DPD sending my parcel back to EE.

Expecting delivery of upgraded phone today and went on to track the status. It is being sent back to EE for no reason at all! DPD is being thoroughly unhelpful and says that EE requested the return....EE says they did not. 

EE advised me to wait a week and then place the order again. Maybe I'm a noob but how is this right? By then i'll be nearly two weeks into the new contract and still using my current phone, so will i have two bills to pay?

If the phone is going back to EE your upgrade would be cancelled and you will be reverted back to the original contract, at this stage you would be able to upgrade again.

But i'd make a complaint to both EE and DPD as it should not be sent back without your authority or unless DPD has tried to deliver it 3 times with no one at home to collect it

I would suggest calling us again on 150, to get this looked into and see why the order is being returned.

I had the exact same issue, and EE were so unhelpful about it. I had to chase them to find out what on earth happened, without me doing so my new phone was just cancelled and no one from DPD or EE reached out to tell me why.

When I spoke to EE about it they said you'd have to wait 24 hrs before ordering a new phone with them, and then that evening I got a text from EE saying "you have to wait 7 days" and then the next day they messaged me saying "we hope you're enjoying your new device!". Hilariously bad!! Been looking at new providers now, might finally be the time to switch away from EE I think.
