I ordered a Samsung Flip5 yesterday from EE store using flex pay scheme. DPD delivered wrong phone - an iPhone 14 pro max. Took phone into the store to be told it was a fake. Apparently another customer had been sent the same type of fake phone! Clearly a pilfering problem within DPD distribution warehouse.Sadly now have to wait for instructions to return ‘iPhone’ which I didn’t order anyway. Also now having to wait till…whenever…for my new phone to be sent out. Maybe EE need to be looking at another courier?? 🤬

Hi Chris FYI I spoke to customer service again on the phone and I now have my new Flip phone, and they collected the fake iPhone from me at the same time so my problem is now resolved. They asked me to email photos of phone and packaging which I did. Obvs looks like there’s a big issue at DPD tho

DO NOT go through returns process, insist on speaking to supply chain team.
Returns will just say you have returned a fake phone, even seen people being invoiced for the missing phone.
Massive DPD fraud going on, happening all over to people from 3 networks, EE and even Apple direct purchases.
Ive spent best part of 2 days now numerous phone calls and a visit to Istore and EE store, finnally spoke with supply chain team who are opening investigation, still have to waitn 72 hours.
Anyone from EE on here, you NEED to make a statement and calm peoples fears, and tell them correct process, huge reputational and trust damage being done, your supply chain is NOT secure!

Hi Have reported to Police and would urge everyone affected to, at least until EE acknowledge theres a problem and issue clear guidance.
It hasnt got it resolved yet but at least now EE supply chain are investigating and agreed with me returns process wouldnt solve the issue.
Ive also got active on LinkedIn and Twitter. Its an issue that spreading fast and clearly fraud happening at DPD UK. Who were completely unbothered and unhelpful, in fact they just directed me back to EE (it was EE who told me to raise it with them)
Take photos, do not let CS fob you off with returns process, insist you speak to supply chain team.
