Ordered my ultra watch over the phone on the pre order day and received my pre order confirmation 👍 Had another email a week later saying order on track but no delivery date 🤷🏻♀️. They launch on Friday ,anyone else waiting like me .

I had mine delivered today never had any communication from EE or DPD other than my initial order. Luckily my wife was home to receive it. Also has anyone ever had a delivery from EE via DPD where the box isn’t bashed about. I’ve been a EE customer for years and every DPD delivery the box is bashed in the corners. Presumably where they throw it into the sorting bins. Anyway mine arrived without notice.

Swapped my Orange Alpine medium for an ocean band in white - now coming Monday.
They had no idea when I would get the Orange one, said 28 days as an open order so I wouldn't hold your breath if that's the one you're after.
Not the band I wanted but at least I know when it's coming!

Just had the message from DPD that the Apple Watch ultra I ordered today will be delivered on Monday.
So if your not too fussed about the strap I would ring to see what stock they have.

So I pre-ordered my watch on the 9th, the day pre-orders were open. RKO order number received, £190 taken out of my account. The week of the release I call customer service, am assured the order will be fulfilled on time. Then the day before - I call again, "wait till 8pm" and that I will get my DPD delivery confirmation. 8am Friday, no watch, no email, no EE communication. I call EE again, am told now that the supervisor Jason assured the sales rep to tell me my watch will be with me within 48 hours - "Sunday I said, are you sure?" - this changed to 72 hours, then the bomb drops - actually my watch is now on a 28 day back order! Not happy at all. I have a complaint in place, call back with a TL today, I have also asked for a copy of all the calls this week under SAR. So will be posting the content of these calls, highlighting the incompetencies of all staff involved on all popular news and social media outlets. EE - contract is £34p/m (minimum) x 24 months AND they take £190 upfront cost so total = £1006

I pre-ordered one and then phoned them to change the strap, they cancelled my order, started an refund and said I would have to reorder it and pay the upfront fee again!

I had this yesterday but assured me I would receive my new choice within 7 days instead of the unknown 28 Day plus - we will see!

This has really highlighted that EEs customer service has declined dramatically recently. It used to be exemplary. The lack of communication on this is terrible. I have spoken to 3 different agents this week, only one was able to answer my questions and give me the information I asked for. I’ve been with EE for over a decade and I moved to them and stayed because they’ve always been brilliant. This experience has really soured the whole thing.
