Apple Watch Ultra Stock Update?

Has anyone been given an update on the Apple Watch Ultra stock recently (49mm, black/grey trail band)?

I pre ordered on the 9th for delivery on the 23rd but that hasn’t materialised (after being told on the 23rd that it was with DPD and to expect delivery within a day). 

I was then told last week by a supervisor that it will be a max of 28 days from my order date (which is tomorrow, I did query if that was 28 days from my order date or the release date and they were adamant that it was from my pre order date) and the DPD app isn’t showing anything and neither is the EE tracking link. 

What’s the likelihood of me being let down yet again tomorrow?

We send out devices according to when we received the completed order, whether this was online, in store, or over the phone. The delivery timescale will vary depending on the colour and size variant you purchased. 

We update our order tracker as soon as deliveries arrive, so you can see the latest information we have. No delivery dates can be confirmed until they’re in the tracker.

What ur asking for isn’t possible. Apple aren’t even able to tell companies exact dates. This isn’t ee. It’s apple at fault. Ee have more than 28 days because that is all the are aware of. If ee could get dates they would tell people. I’ve worked in supply chain and when u tell people a date and the supplier let’s you down people start getting mad at you as if it’s your fault and telling you that you shouldn’t have given a date and got peoples hopes up. It’s a lose lose situation. We all want our stuff but this self aggrandising rhetoric demanding something that they don’t have is downright sad. We live in a first world. These are the issues. But the whole woe is me over an £900 watch is honestly very detached from reality. We can all take our money and go elsewhere. No one is forcing you to keep ur money with ee

if they said they don’t have a clue when it will arrive then that’s completely fine. 

Bit originally it was guaranteed for the 23rd. 
It didn’t arrive. 


Then when I spoke to them they told me it was with DPD. I questioned this and I was told it was definitely with them. And it didn’t arrive. 

The latest one is that it will be guaranteed within 28 days of my order. 
That’s come and gone and still no watch. 

It’s not the fact that they haven’t got a clue that’s the issue. 

It’s the fact that they consistently lie about it and promise otherwise. 

Firstly if you have worked in supply chain you should know that apple have forescasts, productions plans and dispatch plans. I’m an operations manager of over 25 years experience in supply chain from production, warehousing, forecasting and transport and worked for one of largest companies in the world within their supply chain!

you are missing the point we are trying to make which is can we please have updates as people are being left hanging and having to use this community for info which is poor. Even if the update is …we are still seeking delivery dates from Apple it would be something.EE will have been provided with updates from Apple as they are contractually obliged to as a supplier. The other point is DONT LIE TO CUSTOMERS. As several on here have been told dates which can’t happen or were never confirmed by the supplier. 
Im happy to wait as long as I am informed as most people will be but when people hear nothing from EE it isn’t acceptable.

I’ve been told my order was “picked” today. What does that mean. I did ask but my reception cut out

I expect they meant that your order is ready for dispatch. Please keep an eye out for a text from DPD with your tracking details.

I’ve got exactly same situation… 

I put order on AW Ultra on 7th. EE told me despatch within 14 days. Day later on website was update despatch within 7 days. Yesterday was changed till 28 days… I was confused so I called to ee. Some lady told me it’s picked and ready for despatch !!! I call again to confirm that and other person was told me that she was lying to me and I need wait…. Why !!! Why ee cannot tell me exactly which position I’m in the queue and how much they expect watches to be delivered and when I can expect my parcel. Tbh I can wait even half year for watch without any info because it will be still showing more than 28 days… please sort this out and tell people more info because is more annoying waiting without info than waiting with date and time ! 

Won’t believe this. So I called today and told the girl I was told my order had been picked. She apologised and told me I was also lied to lol. Can’t make that up. She was so so nice and called the warehouse and did all she could. But u could tell she was not impressed at the lie I was told. Bonkers lol

It is strange that customer service is allowed to continue with this taking into consideration all this posts and discussions. Clearly ee is in a mess with deliveries and inexperienced customer service. Also it is strange that this isn’t escalated yet and some clarification isn’t presented here on this forum for example… I guess they want to avoid cancellations and hanging in with hopes that watches will arrive soon… 

Today the girl was very honest and stated it is VERY LIKELY I will not have my item within the next 28 days and would be very likely after new year.
