please can you link my new ee account so that i can purchase an item online

 

i have tried several times linking by joining the ee comunity forum but this has no effect

 

all i want is to buy one of the ee products and i am blocked from doing this due to this account setup battle

What are you trying to buy? If it is a contract phone or SIM, don't login to your MyEE before going to the EE Shop. It expects you to already have an EE mobile phone or SIM contract.

Pretty sure those are accessories...

You have to have a plan with EE (I believe a pay monthly contract) to be able to buy these accessories on a monthly payment, I believe it's the same for buying outright. Could be wrong but I don't think you can access the accessories section and buy from it as a non-EE customer.

Having just checked this while logged out, upon clicking on the "Accessories" section it requires you to login, so yes, it would appear you must be an EE member and have some form of account or plan with EE to buy them.

You cannot buy an accessory online unless you already have a mobile phone contract from EE. You are expected to pay for it along with your existing EE mobile plan. That's why it's telling you to login to upgrade your existing plan or add another device. You can however order these from an EE store.

I called the store today and they said it could only be done online

The store is incorrect. I believe they mean you can only order accessories online as a member. Not in store. Not tried to do it in store but that would be my view on it.
