Hey all,
Anyone else had an issue where an upgrade deal is more expensive than quoted when clicking through and adding to basket?
Currently i'm being showed a deal for an iPhone 15 (128gb) with 125gb of data for £38.10 a month. However when clicking the 'View this deal' button, it immediately jumps up to almost £60 and I cant see any options for discount etc.
Very misleading, especially when it the phrase 'Our best deals are only available online' is plastered everywhere.

Hi @Buztafen
Welcome to the community. We'll take a look into this.
Could you post an image of the next screen please, blanking out any sensitive information?

Hi Chris,
Of course, here's an image of the next screen when clicking 'View this deal'.

Thanks for coming back to us @Buztafen
I would suggest giving us a call on 150, to get the offer looked into and discuss your options 🙂

Having the same issue, price is £42 on upgrade screen in basket £62. I can’t workout why it’s the exact same details

I am also seeing this, almost identical image to OP. "Picked for you, based on your current device and usage.
You can upgrade for free today: iPhone 16 Pro with unlimited data, £45.09 monthly (was £65.09) - View this deal"
Yet the monthly price when clicking through is £65.09 (for the longer period of 36 months, too!) and there is no way that I can see to get the monthly payment down to the advertised £45.09.
Is this reduced price only possible if I "trade in" my iPhone 15 Pro Max, which was NOT purchased via EE on a contract, but was paid for in full from Apple direct?
Or, is this discounted price only achievable after factoring in the "£20/month discount when you switch broadband from BT to EE", where the same 900mbps plan which costs me £35/mo with BT would be more expensive with EE, at £45/mo?
If so, I would go as far as saying this marketing from EE should be reported as false advertising. It is exceptionally misleading and frustrating to the end user.
