Tnt sports £12 activation fee!

So I signed up to tnt sports and there was no mention on the page whatsoever about a 12 quid activation fee!

I mean come on , £12 for what.

Is there anybody who has a actual EE number yo speak to someone because getting through to a human seems impossible. I'm not having this charge on my bill and if I would of known there was a charge like that id have just added it to my sky account and had it on my epg. It's a disgrace to not even mention it when ordering online .

@slayer2005 Ah ok thanks for providing an update. That does make more sense as we do not charge an activation fee for TNT Sports.

You will be correct as with any pay monthly add-ons  for the first bill you will get a part charge when adding it part way through your billing cycle, and then the charge for the month in advance. Then for future months it would just be the one monthly charge.

@slayer2005  If this is a add on you’ll not get it for free.    It’s a subscription charge just like you get to watch Netflix or other subscription services.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I no it's not free Chris,  I'm talking about the £12 activation charge. The £20 a month cost is fine but there was no mention of £12 charge on top on my bill for taking out the subscription.

Hi @slayer2005,

What does the charge actually say on your bill when you open the PDF, does it say TNT Sports activation fee or something else? Was it your broadband or mobile bill you added TNT Sports to?

Dont worry mate. Thank I've figured it out although it's not very clear...but I think they have charged me half the month then a month coming forward, hence why I didn't understand it haha . My bad really I should of looked.more clearly. You'd think they would just charge you a bloody month from the date you activate it though.

Hi there

I signed up to TNT Sports for £28 but was actually charged £30.99. What is going on here please? Your sales process needs to be transparent & fair

Hi @spaldo,

It sounds like similar to the above you may have added TNT Sports part way through the month and so have one part charge for the month behind and one full months charge for the month ahead.

If you download your bill and open the PDF it should clearly show if this is the case showing which dates you have been charged for next to the TNT Sports charges under the summary for your number.
