Scam Guard increase

Hi, anyone else received a text saying this is going up from £1.50 to £2.00?

There is a benefit of receiving Norton anti virus licence which is not something I want or agree with. I was inundated with text and email to subscribe when u bought a laptop and it left a sour taste!! I don't wish to be associated with it.

Will I lose out not having EE scam guard?

@charp07  providing you don’t fall for scams via text message or email or calls then you’ll be fine.   Scam guard filters such things.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Scam guard filters absolutely nothing. It simply adds a tag to the caller ID indicating a possible scam call. That’s all it does.

So, Scam Guard price has doubled - via 2 price increases  - in less than 12 months!

EE tries to justify/'dress it up' by saying it now includes/"you now get ... " (stuff I didn't ask for and probably don't need, even if I knew what it was, which I don't because they don't explain it at all!). Much the same as them trying to justify their annual price rises by trumpeting all the 'improvements' they have made and continue to make, despite me still being virtually unable to use my mobile indoors let alone more than 'spitting distance' from any major city...!
