Samsung TV CU8000 50"

Received TV this morning, tried everything to make it work, comes on but just shows plain blue screen and no sound. Who do I contact EE or Samsung 

Bought it from EE but a Samsung product.

Absolutely gutted!

Hi @noddy1950 

Make sure your firmware is up to date:

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/UE55CU8000KXXU/

  • How are you connecting the TV to freesat, freeview, sky? 
  • On the solar cell remote hold the button down with 123 and a cog. Then make sure you have picked the correct terrestrial link.
  • Lastly hold down the power button until the tv restarts. (Soft reset) 

If the menu comes up then the tv is fine its likely how you have connected it.

Thanks for your advice

Have now contacted ee and samsung. Television is faulty awaiting a call from Samsung Technical support.
