Roam abroad pass duration

I’m trying to understand how long a month is for a roam abroad pass please? If I arrive in Spain on the 15th of May when does the month of use conclude? After 30days or after a calendar month? Also would the pass finish on the 14th June if it’s a calendar month?
secondly can I activate the pass once I arrive in Spain or do I have to do it before I leave the uk? If once I arrive would I have to pay the £2.29 for the day I arrive?

@Gillian1234 : The Roam Abroad Pass is charged per billing month. So it will depend on whether your billing date(s) falls during your trip abroad.

You could buy the pass once you arrive in Spain. You will only be charged the £2.29 if you use any of your UK allowances before you buy the Pass,

Do I understand this correctly? If for example, if I set up the pass on the 16th of January and my billing date is the 24th of January I'll get a £25 charge for that part of the month. Then the rest of my holiday is until the 15th of Feb I will get another £25 charge for that period?

Hi @Daveyloon,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

When you activate the add-on part way through a billing period, you'll be charged on a pro-rata basis for that billing period. You'll only pay the full charge for the following month.

Hope this helps.

James
