Roam Abroad Pass for US and Caribbean

Janie12
Visitor

Hi,

I'm going on Honeymoon in August we are having a few days in Florida then getting a cruise around the Caribbean will I be covered by the Roam aboard pass in the Caribbean countries or will this require a new add on?

Also is the Roam abroad pass the best value for money?

My Plan is a pay monthly 125GB data plan

  • The Roam Abroad Pass is not valid in the Caribbean. For data you may need to buy an expensive  small data add-on. You cannot use your usual UK allowances there but will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in e.g.  https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/countries/jamaica.
  • It may not be worthwhile for just a few days in US. You may use your usual UK allowances there with up to 50 GB data per billing month if you have more, when you buy for £25 / billing month or have already as a Smart Benefit the Roam Abroad Pass or you have an EE Max Plan. Otherwise you will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/countries/usa.

Remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your account.
