Re: Xbox game pass

I did just as you described and he added it but it’s monthly and NOT the 24 month one that promised so I did not activate it what would be the point. The 24 month gamepass ultimate is pretty much the reason that I went for the package give my own game pass ultimate is expiring in August. I’ve had ps5 pro and Nintendo switch bundles before and they came with the codes so why should Xbox related bundles be any different. Mine is the meta quest Xbox headset and 24 month gamepass bundle. Any help wholeheartedly appreciated thank you

I really couldn't say for sure @Scorpion3000. I know if you buy an Xbox bundle, you'd use the link I mentioned above, but if that says there is nothing to activate, then it is a case of waiting.

Did you manage to resolve the issue. I received my Xbox meta quest 3 bundle on Friday and of course no Xbox game pass ultimate which was the deciding factor on me going for the quest as my gamepass expires in August. I’ve had ps5 and ps5 pro bundles and the recent switch 2 one and they all come with codes so I don’t understand this

I have the same problem with the meta quest 3 Xbox version and 24 month game pass ultimate. The headset arrived on Friday but no gamepass codes etc. Did anyone manage to resolve the situation? Customer service don’t seem to have any clue. So frustrating

As I already had game pass they couldn’t add it to my account. However when
I put a complaint in and spoke to what I believe was the complaints
department they ended up deducting the price of game pass off of my total
price I was paying for the meta quest.
Believe it was about £12 off per month.

Worth trying to get in contact with that team as I was going round it
circles. Hope you manage to get a better outcome.

I’m glad you had some sort of resolution but I was really looking forward to just not having to worry about getting game pass for a couple of years. The headset remains sealed and unpacked and will be returned to EE if I do not have the 24 month game pass with the 14 day return period which is something I do nt want to do as I was looking forward to trying the meta headset. I pay £200 plus to EE every month and am a loyal customer but this has really soured my experience with the company seeing so many other people stuck without help with this game pass issue over many months and different bundled. Very poor EE you need to sort it out its unfair on your customers

Hi @Scorpion3000

Thanks for coming to the community.

The Xbox Game Pass usually wouldn't be available until after the 14 day return period has ended, so that it cannot be returned after you have the Game Pass period.

If you have not had anything when the 14 days have passed, you'd need to speak to our customer service guides, who can chase it for you.

Michael

Yes Michael that would be a great solution for EE, wait for the 14 days and then tell me that it is now to late to return the headset whilst still not giving me the gamepass code no doubt.  I will not be waiting for 14 days before returning it it is ridiculous customer service judging from the many comments over the pass months in this very forum. Could somebody preferably a customer who has managed to resolve the gamepass problem please tell me how they did this and make my weekend thank you

I get where you are coming from @Scorpion3000, but it is a similar situation for EE, as they could be providing the codes and customers then return the device and have the Game Pass subscription.

If you aren't able to claim at ee.co.uk/xbox as it says there is nothing to activate, it would be a case of waiting for the 14 days.

If you still aren't satisfied, you can speak to our customer service guides again, and raise a complaint with them.

Michael

Ok Michael point taken but please explain why they have a different process with ps5 and Nintendo bundles. Not even a text saying when they will deliver the codes absolutely nothing it is so poor. £200 a month plus to EE and to be treated this way is poor
