Perks verification

Hi,

I have submitted my ID for my perks account but am still waiting for the ID to be verified.

This was submitted last week.

I'm waiting to upgrade and take out 2 sim only plans and its dragging on now.

Any help available?

Welcome to the community.

They usually reply within 3-5 working days letting you know whether the ID has been accepted. Hopefully, they'll be in touch with you soon.

They have just replied to say the ID doesn’t match the account, but it’s exactly the same name!

I don’t know what to do now

Was it a clear picture, @Evans2021?

Is your company definitely set up for the EE Perk program?

It is an Armed Forces veterans card ID I have uploaded and yes the picture was clear.

If you are a veteran then you can register for EE Perk by uploading one of the following proofs along with your personal email address to the Perk Portal:

 

•        Certificate of service

•        Certificate of discharge (discharge papers)

•        Armed forces pension

 

Those are the only proofs they can accept. Do you have any of those that you could upload?

I have medical discharge papers somewhere just not sure where, and I’m not in receipt of a forces pension yet. 
I don’t understand why my veterans ID isn’t being accepted, I’ve used it with other companies so why are EE being different ?

The perk team should be able to use those papers that you mentioned to verify the account, if you're able to find them, @Evans2021 

The proofs that I mentioned above are the only ones they're able to use to verify it.

I've just had the same response when using military ID, claiming the name doesn't match. It does not claim that the type of ID is incorrect, as with the response you received. 

It seems to me that they're trying to avoid giving perks codes out.

Hi @gargonroge 

The Military ID card isn't accepted as a proof by our Perk team. If you could upload one of the documents that I posted above, they'll be able to verify the account for you and you'll get access to your perk codes.
